Relay for Life is a fun-filled event where everyone can join in, regardless of age or fitness level! It's not a competition, you can walk, run or jog, whatever you prefer!
It's a 24-hour event, which starts at noon on Saturday, and finishes at noon on Sunday. The teams camp in tents overnight by the side of the track.
Relay for Life in Portsmouth is held on a sports-site so changing rooms, showers and toilets are available, as well as a bar.
The site is located centrally in Portsmouth, not far from Gunwharf Quays and Commercial Road. Free parking is generally provided by the event.
Dinner and breakfast is provided at a small cost and usually includes items like burgers, chips, pizza, salad for dinner, and cereal or bacon/sausage sandwiches for breakfast. Of course, the teams can also bring their own food and drink.
